Who We Are
History of Casale Gambini
The History
What truly makes Casale Gambini special is its family management. As our family history has passed down to us, here, heart and passion are at the center of everything we do.
Casale Gambini is a charming retreat located in the picturesque village of Roncolo, a tranquil place with approximately 600 inhabitants, nestled in the fascinating Matildic lands of Quattro Castella, known for being the territory of Matilda of Canossa. This charming farmhouse traces its roots back to the late 18th century as a rural home and became a significant residence when Dr. Giuseppe Gambini acquired it in 1984.
Here, he found serenity by dedicating his time to caring for the garden and trees surrounding the property. The Casale embarked on a new phase of its existence thanks to the dedication of his son Gianluca and daughter-in-law Anna Stilli, who carried out an ambitious and valuable restoration work, giving "new life" to the structure.
Guests of Casale Gambini can stroll through the trails near Roncolo Park, enjoy excursions in the surrounding lands, and explore the charming Matildic Castle of Bianello, all easily accessible from this unique residence.
Casale Gambini is a place where history and passion for nature intertwine, creating a welcoming and relaxing environment.
“A place where happiness infects everyone who stays here, Giuseppe Gambini felt it, which is why in his farmhouse he always wanted to share moments of joy with everyone, transmitting to those who cared about him the desire to pursue this wonderful project.”
Thank you!
Gianluca
